Dr.Kevin Sludds expertise extends beyond the realms of therapy. He has earned the esteemed title of a full Professor of Philosophy. Throughout his illustrious career, Kevin has shared his knowledge and insights as an educator at prestigious institutions like Trinity College Dublin, Maynooth University, and Atlantic Technological University (ATU) in Sligo.

Kevins contributions extend beyond the classroom and therapy room. He has penned several impactful publications that delve into the concepts of emotions, cognitions, and ontology. The publication of his book "Emotions, Their Cognitive Base and Ontological Importance," has garnered acclaim for its groundbreaking insights into the realm of human emotions.

Beyond the written word, Kevin has graced international stages as a guest and keynote speaker, sharing his expertise across Europe, Africa, and India. His discussions on vital topics such as depression, bereavement, work-life balance, and anxiety have resonated with diverse audiences, leaving a lasting impact on individuals, professionals, and communities alike.

Kevin has also recently developed and introduced a new modality into the realm of therapy - Victor Therapy - a new approach to psychotherapy, whose primary goal is to assist clients to find greater balance in their lives by moving beyond passive victimhood to become empowered victors of their own well-being. The approach places a fundamental emphasis on helping clients to gain a deeper understanding of the dynamics of emotion, the role of cognition and understanding the dangers of self-diagnoses and the disempowering language and labels clients so often use in relation to their mental health.

Kevin has also actively contributed to governmental strategies on mental health and suicide prevention since 2005. His dedication to improving the mental health landscape is further evident in his role as a board member of the National Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy, where he helps shape the standards and practices of the field.
