In 2017, Larry took the leap into higher education as a mature student to pursue his passion for helping people navigate their emotional landscapes. This decision led him to the doors of the Irish College of Humanities & Applied Sciences, where he embarked on an enriching educational journey towards his qualification as a Counsellor & Psychotherapist.
As part of his Counselling & Psychotherapy journey Larry has achieved 3 years of acadentraining. He is currently embarking on the 4th and final stage of his counselling & psychotherapy training. Through face-to-face and online appointments, he extends his services to adults and teenagers (16+) addressing a range of issues including anxiety, stress, bereavement, and other challenging conditions. Larry's approach remains steadfast – to empower his clients to uncover their strengths, cultivate resilience, and embark on a journey of self-empowerment.
Fuelled by his intrinsic empathy and a genuine interest in the well-being of others, Larry emerged from his academic endeavours with a strong foundation in the principles of person-centred therapy. This approach resonates deeply with Larry, and he has adopted it as the cornerstone of his therapeutic work.
