Samantha is an Accredited Counsellor with the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and has a BA (hons) Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Samantha is also certified in Cognitive Behavorial Therapy, Child and adolescent counselling and addiction studies. Samantha has over eleven years’ experience as a keyworker in a program for former drug misusers, trained and worked in Pieta House and has six years in private practice where she has dealt with a wide range of issues.
Samantha's core training is humanistic and Samantha applies a range of interventions applicable to the client's needs. Samantha believes in the power of healing and how it can transform one's life which starts with the relationship with the client that is of the utmost importance. Samantha is committed to lifelong learning to enhance her skills and is looking to include sand play in her work.
