Fiona's expertise lies in the realms of Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy, a holistic approach that places individuals at the centre of their own healing journey. Her tenure at respected institutions such as Pieta House, Daughter’s of Charity Child & Family Service, and the Rape Crisis Service has equipped her with a deep understanding of diverse psychological challenges and the unique needs of her clients.

Fiona's specialisation encompasses a comprehensive array of challenges, reflecting her dedication to addressing the multifaceted nature of human experiences. From anxiety, grief/bereavement to depression, separation, bullying, miscarriage, trauma, fertility issues, and various forms of abuse (physical, sexual, emotional), Fiona approaches each case with empathy and expertise. Additionally, she provides a supportive environment for those struggling with suicidal thoughts, self-harm, and issues related to self-esteem and confidence-building.

At NorthStar, Fiona engages with both adults and adolescents from age 14, skilfully blending a range of therapeutic modalities to craft personalised treatment plans. Her integrative approach draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, Bodywork, and Creative Media.

Central to Fiona's therapeutic philosophy is the belief that the foundation of successful therapy lies in the therapeutic relationship. She places utmost importance on fostering a strong and compassionate bond with her clients, recognizing this connection as pivotal to the healing process.

In the dynamic landscape of NorthStar Clinic, Fiona shines as a beacon of hope and transformation. Her holistic approach, wealth of experience, and profound belief in the therapeutic alliance make her a valued psychotherapist who guides individuals on their journeys toward mental and emotional well-being.
