With a passionate commitment to helping families navigate the complexities of childhood anxieties, we offer a beacon of guidance and support for parents striving to empower their children
We understand the unique needs of both children and parents in the face of general anxieties, OCD, school avoidance, mood disorders, low self-esteem and confidence, behavioral issues, anger management, and many more. Through compassionate care, evidence-based interventions, and a personalised approach we support parents by creating a space where they can become equipped with knowledge, skills and support to help them guide their children through the maze of anxieties that exist in their world.
Our parent support coaches collaborate closely with parents to provide educational material and tailored strategies that address the specific needs of each child. Combining therapeutic techniques with a deeper understanding of the complexities of the child's emotional brain, parents are more empowered to support their child to build emotional resilience. As parents gain new insights into their children's emotional actions and reactions they gain a greater understanding of how best to support them.
"Parents Are The Agents Of Change"
Dr. Landreth, Director Emeritus of the Association for Play Therapy (APT)
Our parents support clinic offers one to one guidance to parents of children, teens and adolescents from age 5 to 18. Our parent support coaches draw from a wealth of knowledge, experience and professional training to offer emotional support and encouragement to parents, helping them build confidence in their parenting abilities. They create a safe and non-judgmental space for parents to express concerns and challenges they may be experiencing. Our therapists work with parents to set specific goals and objectives for their parenting journey, provide tools for effective communication and conflict resolution and guide them in finding creative solutions to supporting their child through emotional and behavioural episodes. In each session they provide feedback and adjustments to strategies as needed. By offering guidance, parent support aims to improve family dynamics, reduce stress, and promote positive parent-child relationships.
