Hello! I'm Naomi, and I'm here to provide you with a compassionate and adaptable approach to counselling. By combining tools and techniques from various therapeutic modalities, I ensure that your unique needs are met. I believe there's no one-size-fits-all solution in mental health, and I'm dedicated to tailoring my methods to what works best for you.
My professional journey is built on a foundation of care, dedication, and a strong ethical stance. As a fully accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), I bring a diverse set of skills and a client-centred approach to my practice. I hold a BSc (Hons) Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from PCI College, and I've pursued additional training in Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS), SafeTalk, ASSIST, Mindfulness, Self-Care, and Personal Development. This commitment to a well-rounded education showcases my dedication to providing the best care possible.
As I come closer to the completion stage of my Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy for Adolescents, I am now in a qualified position to work with young people from age 13. As I have been working with older adolescents for the past couple of years I am looking forward to supporting a slightly younger age profile. My ongoing pursuit of knowledge and specialisation highlights my determination to address a wide scope of mental health needs and a broader age spectrum.
